AluChem’s Ultra-Low Soda (ULS) Calcined Alumina is manufactured from selected Bayer Process feeds. Total Soda (Na2O) concentration is reduced prior to calcination utilizing a proprietary process which insures no addition of trace oxides. Our tightly controlled rotary calcining process delivers consistent alumina crystal size and morphology.

** Milled ULS Calcined Aluminas are available based upon customer and industry specific specifications. AluChem’s milled products are produced through dry-milling in ceramic lined ball mills with high-alumina ceramic media.
