Thank you to the employees of AluChem Specialty Alumina in Reading for collecting and donated more than 80 coats, hats and gloves for children in our care.

Children may come into our care suddenly and lacking basic necessities like warm clothing. Donations like this help us meet their needs quickly.

AluChem’s Bethany Davisson said the 18 employees at the local facility decided to collect the coats and spent about a month gathering them.

“The foster care program is near and dear to my own heart and who is more deserving than abused and neglected kids,” Davisson said.
