AluChem At Ceramics Expo
2016 is an exciting year for AluChem as we continue to navigate our strategic plan of investment in infrastructure, expansion and growth of our Specialty Aluminas Product Portfolio. In 2015 AluChem commissioned a soda reduction facility in Little Rock, Arkansas for the manufacture of low and ultra-low soda Calcined, Reactive and Tabular Aluminas utilizing proprietary purification technology.
AluChem to Receive Business of the Year Award
It has quietly been one of the Jackson area’s steadiest employers for 20 years, making a once abandoned basic brick plant a source of employment and tabular alumina production. For that accomplishment, AluChem, located on Beaver Pike just west of Jackson, is the 2015 Jackson Area Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year. AluChem will be one of many to be honored during the chamber’s Annual Appreciation Banquet on Thursday, October 22.
